Dirk Wolter leads Cisco’s Mobile Network Business in the APAC Region.
Dirk has more than 20 years of international experience in the telecommunication industry with extensive knowledge in design, construction, optimization and operation of telecom networks. His multiple contributions to telecom industry organizations made him a recognized advisor for Service Providers as well as regulatory bodies and investors in the telecom industry.
Over the last years, Dirk also worked on frameworks for infrastructure sharing, National Broadband Network (NBN) projects and Radio Spectrum regulations in Asia.
Before joining Cisco, Dirk served in multiple technology leadership roles at Alcatel-Lucent, including VP Strategy, and CTO. Dirk received his Master of Science Degree and Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany.
